Cecilia Salazar is one of the leading actresses in Trinidad & Tobago today and holds a BA in theatre from Brock University, Ontario, Canada.

She has graced the stage in many iconographic roles such as MISS Miles, The Woman of the World; Queen Mamala in the 3canal show, Lizzie in Mary Could Dance, Elsa in The Sound of Music ,Cleotilda in Earl Lovelace’s Dragon Can Dance, Isabella in The Joker of Seville, Bolom in Ti Jean & his Brothers…….to name a few. she has performed in New York, Connecticut, Boston, Berlin, Hamburg, Grenada, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, St. Croix.

Cecilia is the recipient of 5 Best Actress awards and 4 Best Supporting Actress awards, of The Cacique Awards for Excellence in Theatre in Trinidad & Tobago.

Her film work includes Home Again- Directed by Sudz Sutherland , Limbo – 2010 Norway/Trinidad & Tobago, Director/Writer Maria Sodahl & The Ghost of Hing King Estate- directed by Horace Ove. On television she has been seen locally as Belva Darling on The Reef and Crystal in West Wood Park, both created by Danielle Diffenthaller.

Cecilia currently teaches drama at St. Monica’s Prep. and at several primary schools and has a Saturday drama class. She is the proud mother of Isabella, Serena and Stella.
